Salem Wins!

Salem defeats St. John's (53-40) in the 4th annual Panther Pride Invitational to claim its 4th consecutive title Saturday night! The St. John's, JV, claimed the "White" division title by defeating Zion, JV, with an exciting 39-33 win. The host, St. Paul's secured a third place finish with a 51-34 win and Salem, JV, won the third place trophy in the "White" division with a 41-37 win over St. Paul's, JV.

Along with the titles, the Salem, Varsity, and the St. John's, JV won the Christian Sportsmanship Award for their respective divisions.

The Christian Sportsmanship Award and the All Tourney team is awarded based on voting by officials, scorekeepers, and coaches following each game.

A huge thank you to all who participated in this year's tourney. We are already looking forward to next year's Panther Pride. It is tentatively scheduled for December 9-13, 2008. Circle the date!
